Upper Pamedarian Language Family
5000 years before present, the ancient Proto-Dartminic peoples migrated into the Ältojowa plains, the traditional turf of the ancient Pamedarians. Most Pamedarians fled to other regions, but some have sought refuge in the mountains of Jowa, clinging onto and defending their rich culture, these are the Upper Pamedarians.
The Upper Pamedarian languages are characterised by ejective consonants and small vowel inventories, split ergativity and conservative language drift.
